Using Google's ReCaptcha to Prevent Spam Bots
Using Google's ReCaptcha to Prevent Spam Bots
Applicability: Web Forms and Wizards
Why: We at SeamlessDocs take data security very seriously, especially due to the fact that we work with government agencies. Although both SeamlessDocs and Web Forms are already very secure, and we take every step necessary to protect your data, we added the ability to use Google’s reCAPTCHA on Web Forms for an additional level of protection.
Google’s reCAPTCHA ensures that the computer user — he or she who is filling out a Web Form — is indeed a human. This process prevents bots from making submissions on forms. It never hurts to have an extra layer of security.
In order to add Google’s reCAPTCHA to a Web Form, go into the “Specialty Tools” section of the Form Elements. You can choose to click on the field once, or drag and drop it onto the Web Form. And it’s just as simple as that! A user-friendly way of making your forms that much more secure.
