SeamlessDocs Partner Cabarrus County, NC Awarded in Digital Counties Survey 2018
On July 11, 2018, the Center for Digital Government announced that Cabarrus County, NC, a SeamlessGov partner since 2017, won third place in the 2018 Digital Counties Survey. GovTech.com's official announcement of the Digital Counties Survey 2018 winners states, "The county partnered with SeamlessGov to transform the way citizens interact with the government and complete a mobile-friendly website redesign with user-optimized content. The new site offers an intuitive and consistent user experience that modernizes citizen/staff interactions. The site provides an integrated live chat feature with a chatbot that offers articles from a new help portal. And if the article doesn’t meet the citizen’s needs, they are connected to an integrated help desk contact form."
This announcement comes just weeks after the County won first place in the 2018 conference of the North Carolina City & County Communicators for its website redesign.
SeamlessGov partnered with Cabarrus County in early 2017 after winning their Website Redesign RFP. Over the subsequent months, we dissected the existing website structure to create a more intuitive navigational hierarchy and a clearer citizen pathway. Launched in October 2017, the new website was mobile-friendly, prioritized content for an enhanced user experience, and used a simple visual design that incorporated the County’s new brand essence, logo and color scheme. We also implemented robust digital forms that allow citizens to interact with the County without the need for paper, printers, and fax machines.
It is a privilege to work with the passionate individuals who are driving government innovation from within. Congratulations to Cabarrus County CIO Debbie Brannan and her whole IT team, for helping us propel our mission: Government is Beautiful.
